I was introduced to Shatto by my local LA Animal Shelter as a vet offering free initial exam for my 8 week old adopted kitten. I was able to get an appointment and got inexpensive vaccination shots. The staff and doctor were very welcoming, attentive and gentle. When Oscar was old enough for his rabies shot we were notified. He had his first year and second year check-up and vaccinations, as we had been informed when all these were due. Shatto staff is very responsive to my phone inquiries. I am even about to have my other cat euthanized and they were very attentive to how hard this was going to be for me. That cat is over 20 years old and having a hard time, meowing all the time and not able to physically move as she once did. I am very grateful for them and they are near my home. Oscar is now 2.4 years old and 1.4 lbs overweight spoiled baby.

I have come to Shatto for my Cat's medical care ever since she wound up on our balcony as a kitten. They helped us scan for a chip, clear her of fleas ticks and worms, and ensure she was fully vaccinated. I couldn't imagine going to another vet in our area. They are kind and quick, but also, they know what they are doing!

I’ve been coming to Shatto 6 years now and it’s always been a great experience. Even in the middle of the pandemic they have always made me and Hermes (my cat) feel welcomed and at ease. Friendly and knowledgeable staff is what makes us come back every year. I recommend them 100%.

Great staff! We had a friendly and polite vet named David. My dog liked him! They gave her updated shots along with diagnosing her rash, and we were in and out within an hour. We'll definitely be coming back with my other pets.

Everyone was very nice to me and my dog. The floor is cold so don’t forget to bring a mat for your dog to lie down on in the waiting room. I did not have a mat so I used my jacket but the floor is very clean. The doctors and technicians are very professional, especially Dr. Ta. They made sure to ask about travel timelines so that you understand how long the titer test is valid for, even though it is not their responsibility to help you keep track of patients’ own travel plans or make sure you have all of the necessary paperwork. The gentleman sitting at the front desk even told me that the human’s name on the health certificate will have to match the name on the passport, so if you have dual citizenship and the name of your second passport is in another language, this is VERY important to know. I was very pleased with the service. Parking was free and extremely convenient.
